So, I just picked up an AC WD 45. It has a gas engine. I was wanting to put a turbo on it. I want it to have some low end power but I want it to make a good power in mid and high range rpm. What size turbo/exhaust housings should I go for, and what can I do to better prepare the tractor for the turbo set up?

There is a universal turbo kit on E bay
for $445. But probably to big. I would go
to a take apart junk yard and look. 1 from
a 3.5 Ford F150 Eco-boost would be about
right. They have 2, but they boost right
off idle.

I see quite a few very negative posts on FaceBook about the Keystone Turbo company !! Better check it out from those who have spent thousands of $$$$$ and are NOT pleased with the results.

Theres a turboed WD-45 Allis puller sitting in a barn about 40 miles southeast of me...It was probably last
pulled in the late 1970's-early 1980's and isn't for sale?...It turned a bunch of rpm's and could spin some
24.5 x 32's in the 4500 Super Stock class.....When it was right it could give the 77 Olivers,Wards,101 Massey's
some good competition...Gary Mitchell may remember this tractor owned by Darvin B....I wish that I had a picture
of it...Theres another guy in that area thats currently pulling a WD-45 with a turbo..
