I haven't heard that yet but wouldn't be surprised, if some one don't stop these environmentalist soon we will be back to horses, then they will want us to catch the farts...

Sorry I'm no help.Since I'm at the twilight of my tractor driving career I don't keep up the the new tractors of any color. But I agree with Tim IE the further ahead in progress the new diesel engines get the farther behind we get, especially in the pickup truck diesel engines.

that video is from feb. 2011. does not pertain to next year so there is a possibility it might be. sooner or later it will happen.

That is the system JD has gone to. Don't think they invested all the money and time to develop that system to junk it in 2012 or later. Same basic system as Dodge Cummins uses in theirs. No Urea.

I have a new Ford pickup with it and know of some new tractors that have it also but not JD.It isnt at all truck stops so you want to keep it full.It is one more cost and the new diesels run so clean I think its one more government regulation we have to live with.I like the non computer less plastic products you dont need a diagnostic lap top to fix.On.some of the new units you have to remove the fenders to work on them.Sometimes I think job security is the only reason for some of this junk.
