Update on KCM

For those of you who, like me, prefer the other puzzle format, here's how you can enjoy Majorman's (and anyone else's) photos on a Windows computer:

1. Reopen a previous puzzle.

2. Save that puzzle page as a 'favorite'.

3. When you find an image you think would make a good puzzle- from anywhere, including NAT, an auction catalog, your own collection, and of course this site- right click on the image and 'save image as' and save it where you can find it. I created a folder in My Pictures called Puzzle Photos but you can save anywhere you choose.

4. When you want to do a puzzle, open the puzzle page from your favorites. Hover your cursor over the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner. A dialog box will come up with the option to open a photo as a puzzle. Navigate to your saved images and choose the one you want. Off you go!

Use the 'Play as' function on the puzzle to choose which style you want. You can vary number and shape of the pieces to your needs.

Speaking for myself, the objection is that all the pieces are 'piled up' and hard to sort through. I'm sure no one is suggesting you change what you have been doing- they (we/some of us) simply prefer the other format. I'm just as certain that everyone appreciates you posting the images, and we can either follow your link or use the method I outlined in my previous post to play your images in the other format.

Glad he is doing Ok but one thing I like that he does not do is put a bit of description to each pictures. The puzzle link does not mean anything to me as I do not like puzzles to start with but it is nice to know a bit of what the picture is.

I'm not going to go out of my way posting pics for people who don't/won't respect my efforts. 'Nuff said.

BTW (to everyone), I just popped in for a few minutes as I have a bucket next to me in case I throw up. Not feeling well!!
