Vermeer 605xl air pressure

How much air pressure should be in the air bags on this baler? The gauge is either not working or there s no air in them. I tried checking them with a tire gauge but got nothing. I was afraid to pump too much in. Any idea how many lbs it takes ?

What is the procedure to fill the air pressure? Gate open or closed? How many lbs of air should I put in?
