All,
Many moons ago, I wrote of the red-headed kid that lives nearby.
So today, I get home, and I see a young fellow, and a tractor near my shed. Turns out he's trying to say hello, but, I'm a tad late getting home.
After offering a Coke from my garage fridge, he's trying to get underway. Tractor was unwilling. We hook up the charger, but still no go. I get the car, jumpers, ether (just a wisp), but still ended up with the fellow and tractor in my yard.
Forward a few moments, and we get the tractor running.
Spark plugs deeply fouled, but nudged him to wire-brush them then give a touch of heat from the torch.
He's all-around a good kid, but I try to encourage him to be better. He's got some learning to do, but don't we all?
Just letting a gray whisker or two of mine show, if he was my kid...well, I may have been less tolerant.
It's amazing how far I've gotten in the soft-hearted territory.
