wheel weight identification

Hi there, just wondering if anyone can identify these wheel weights, the number on them is J1235 and a picture of a letter C outlined in a square. are they off a cockshutt and what model do they fit?. thanks

1235 was the number assigned to OLIVER wheel weights back in the days before the mid 50's. J was the letter assigned to parts used on Oliver 60 standard tractors. So yes, it would fit a Cockshutt 60 as well. Does that help?

Hello J. I always appreciate your good advice on Oliver's and I always make a point to read your post to learn something. Tonight is no exception. I had a 44 Cockshutt 70 standard at one time which had wheel weights like this one. My 70 which is a keeper - my fathers - is a 1941 with quite a different set of hubs. They fill the center of the wheel and the rim attaches with little keepers around the outside. Would you know what wheel weights Oliver had for these standard models. Maybe there was not any available?

There were weights available for the early 70 standards, I have a set laying around, I could look the part# up if you want.

Thanks for all the info on identifying the weights . They were in my barn when I bought the farm and would like to sell them but want to advertise them correctly. I have a few John Deeres but they dont fit. I find it is nicer with the cloride out of the tires and original weights painted up loooks a lot nicer, doesnt matter what brand of tractor. Any idea what I should roughly charge for a pair of them?? Thanks this is a great site of knowledge.!

Neil: Good question. I looked in my later (1947 date) 70 parts book and no Weights were listed in the parts book! Hope you are doing good.

Hello Gordy and J. I am doing well J. I hope you guys are also. Gordy, I would appreciate the number off those weights and if you are not too far from eastern Ontario, I would be interested in buying them.
J, I have an Oliver 70 parts book also and I have notf found any mention of wheel weights at all. The Cockshutt 70 owners manual says they were available though.
It would be nice to let the calcium out of the tires to protect the rims from rusting.
