    JD 60 clutch

The grooves will go up against either the sliding drive disk or fixed drive disk. That"s where the main wear is going to take place.

B with an A carb (Please look B-maniac)

It appears I finally got the carb in tune last night... I went back and did the two no-wrench tests again and after it was all said and done, turns ended up being about 1 1/2 idle and 3/4 load (just like you had thought Pat). Only time it smokes a bit is when I take off from a stand-still...

B with an A carb (Please look B-maniac)

Thanks guys for the insight. Just read that carb article and looked at the 'no-wrench' tests at the bottom. I've essentially already done them, and it does run great at a slow idle (and fast) with the load needle shut. The problem comes when that load needle is opened up and it wants to take...

    Farmall Regular price

Just looking for opinions on what a fully restored farmall regular might be worth. Owner believes it to be a 1930.

B with an A carb (Please look B-maniac)

As a refresher, I have a 44 B (with the newer B block) that has a A carb (dltx71) on it. Trying to get the needle adjustments right. When I have the load needle shut, and open the idle needle 2 turns (like you recommended, b-manic) it runs great just idling. However, when I then open the load...

720 Lower Transmission Shaft, how does it come out??

download the parts manual from the JD website and it might give you a better understanding of how that shaft is assembled

    B with an A carb

It has the bigger block on it (the one that originally was on the 201000 and up). Will try those settings. Thanks.

    B with an A carb

Have a 44 B handstart. The person who had it before me put the newer bigger block on and I guess decided it would be a good idea to put an A carb on instead of the dltx 67 it should have had. The carb had just been rebuilt and I just honed the clyinders and the valves look good, but when it...

    Clutch cover '60'

When you put the new rivets in to hold the new clips in place remember to buck em up good on the back. I've gotten the clips from JD a few years back, would be suprised if they wouldn't have them.

    60 roll-o-matic

I have a 60 narrow front that i'd like to put a roll-o-matic on. Can anyone tell me what all it'd take to do this job? I'd imagine it couldn't be all to difficult... do i just have to buy the spindle?

    44 jd B brakes

thanks. i got it out last night. turns out the gears were so badly worn that they actually got pressed out to a larger diameter and barely squeezed out through the housing. going to have to shave a little bit of them off before throwing her back in...

    44 jd B brakes

One of my bakes on a 44 B is froze and I am having a heck of a time trying to the assembly out. I can pull it out about 2.5" and then it seems to get hung up on something. Anyone have any tips/ideas on how to get it out? The break spins freely when it"s out, so I"m pretty sure its not getting...
