    460 charging 2.0

    completely rewired my 460. 10ga wires going to the gen and 12ga on everything else. after checking everything twice I hooked up the bat. no smoke or fried wires. started her up and she's charging: 17.2 volts. what do I need to adjust and how do I do it to lower the charging to 14v? bass

    i have found the wiring diagram for my 460, so I'm gonna rewire the tractor. some of the old wires are in bad shape,, some not connected, some not even there I think.. the system is not charging; I took the pos cable off the bat post and it started to die. gonna replace with new 12ga...

    working on the charging system on the 460. just had the generator rebuilt and its charging on the shop stand. put on a new regulator and polarized it. put on new 1ga battery cables and cleaned the point where the neg grounds to. charged the battery over night; its hot. now...

    thanks for the insight on the eye bolt issue. based on yall's comments, I removed the eyebolts and reriged my chains. I was trying to come up with a faster way to tie down. next idea: would a chain hook welded to 1/2" flat steal bolted to the front end be any better?? again thanks...

    Well I spent this morning while in a fine mist, replacing the brakes on my 460. The old disk were glazed up good. Replaced disks, balls and springs. The seals were not leaking so I left them alone. Now Mabel stops on a dime and gives you a nickel in change. Thanks for all the info and...

    460 brakes, again

    gonna try again with this question. what is the amount of play in the brake peddles on a 460. watched a video on disk brake replacement on a SH so a 460 should not be that much different, maybe. in the video, the play is between 1 1/8" to 1 3/8". is this about same for a 460? hope...

    cuper C fertlizer side dressers

    look for a manual for the 2c-279 black land planter. it show how to mount and adjust the side dressers. i'm looking my copy now so the information is there. if you need pics, I can take some of my super C. I don't have the planter drives mounted but I have them. Ive got Charlie rigged up...
