    skid steer in gravel pit face which works best

    The gravel coming from a pit will not have been dug up and loosened. Want a used machine new is not in the price range of consideration. Am thinking of a 1500 lb capacity machine, is this too small? Gravel pits have rocks and boulders up to 1 1/2 foot size in them. Would the machine dig this?
