    Rake tines keep breaking

I have a 1225 Pro Cart rake with the kicker wheel on the rear. I'm constantly breaking tines off that thing, much more often than the side wheels. Does anyone else have that problem? Any clue what the problem might be?

    Need a tool

Hey guys, I've been trying for over 3 months to get a clutch disc alignment tool from John Deere and they keep saying it's on back order. I need to get my 5210 back together after a clutch replacement and need to see if anyone has that tool that I can buy, rent or borrow so I can get the tractor...

    101 code

Hey guys. I have a 6105D and I keep getting a Stop alert about 5 minutes after I start it up. I kill it and start in back up after a few seconds and in another 5 minutes or so it'll come on again. It may not come on again for hours after that. I got a 101 code. I changed the blow-by filter and...

    clutch problems

I did not. What's worse is that I kept looking at the clutch and wondering if I should check it out. My thought was, Nah, it's ok. Bit me right in the but. Thanks for your input.

    clutch problems

Oh my. Well we can do that. I think I'll go ahead and remove the clutch and inspect the discs while we're in there this time.

    clutch problems

Hi guys, I split my 5210 and freed up the clutch and PTO bearings and all went back together well. I adjusted my clutch and no matter where I adjust it the clutch won't disengage when I depress the pedal. I've been from zero free play to a couple of inches and it still won't release. What did I...

    clutch problems

I found the problem. The PTO collar and the clutch release sleeve were stuck together. I took them to the work bench and with some Kroil and my pipe wrench, I was able to separate them. I cleaned them up and put them back together and they now work good as new. Also, the keys on the yokes were...

    clutch problems

I think you're right Jim. After seeing your drawing, I see how it's supposed to work. The PTO bearing alone should slide forward when activated, but it brings the clutch throwout bearing with it when it does. Somehow the 2 sleeves are bound to each other. Gonna be interesting to see what's...

    clutch problems

Thanks Harry. Yeah I expected something like that. I split it already and both the bearings are moving together. I haven't removed them yet, but I just wanted to make sure I'm on the right track. Thanks again.

    clutch problems

Hi guys, I have a 5210 and whenever I engage the PTO the clutch pedal depresses. Then when I depress the clutch, the PTO handle moves forward. What's going on here?

    Truble with clutch

Thanks, Jim. I do have the service manual for this tractor. I live in north Texas and weather has not been the problem. I haven't done anything on the tractor yet because of other irons in the fire and I've not yet asked the service department about this problem, but I will.Thank you for your...

    Truble with clutch

Hey guys. I think I may have a problem with the clutch on my 5210. Everything worked fine when I parked it a few days ago, but when I got on it today I couldn't put it in gear. The clutch pedal feels fine But I can't get it in gear without it grinding. What's crazy is when I push in the clutch...
