I saw a tractor for sale today that is stuck in gear... is this similar to some of the posting that I saw on here? Could it be caught between two gears & needs adjustment? I know little about it, late styled, stuck in 6th?

    How bad/how hard???

I have a 45' B that I found has a busted clamp bolt on the center casting for the rear wheel (if that make sense, the clamps that hold the casting to the outer rim). Two questions, I still have three, how bad is running it without one? Second, how many years will I spend trying to retrieve the...

    wood auction prices in Iowa

They have the prices posted on Nixon Auctioneers website. Case steam went for a good price, and I had overheard while there that one of the 4020's the owner had purchased new (thus I am assuming the $19K one was a family purchase). I didn't stick around for the entire sale either. Nixon...

Many of the Deere factories have tours (in Waterloo Tractor & Cab. in the Quad Cities... Davenport works (construction) Seeding, Harvester... Dubuque, Desmoines & Ottumwa are all with hours), you will need to schedule some. Corporate is a big hit as it really has more equipment to see than even...

    JD B E85

I have a dual fuel B that is stripped down and currently only runs one fuel. I want to get a high octane fuel which is kind of hard around here. In discussion someone asked if I could run E85 which should have an octane of around 110... long story short. Any effects?

    JD B Live hydraulics

I have seen a number of A & B's that have live hydraulic connections. Most have a spacer behind the powr-trol valve body. Any idea on how these work, where to get one? Specifically I am looking for a 1945 B.

    JD H implements?

I'm looking for a first tractor and like the size of the "H" but would like something useful, not just pretty!!! I know what works with a "B" but what are the implement options for an "H" (with and without a PTO)? Are there any mowers that will work with an "H"?
