    JD 467 baler monitor question

There’s a whole list of stuff to check in the owners manual in the service section. Pull the net loose and have someone hit wrap on the monitor and watch everything work. Turn it off when the alarm sounds and repeat. You don’t need to turn the pto or tractor on. Make sure the actuator is pushing...

    JD 567 baler

I’ve baled a couple hundred bales with no issues so far this year. Suddenly on the last 20 bales, the netwrap wouldn’t cut. I pulled in the shop and checked voltage, channel 18, which was good. Put monitor on channel 19 and cycled several times. Actuator was fine, V belt tension is fine and...

    John Deere 567 baler

That is correct, top 2 rollers on the bale where the belts change directions. No service bulletin. Came out in the winter specials. Takes 3 pieces for 5’ baler and 2 pieces for 4’ balers plus clips. Supposed to guide the net better to keep it from wrapping on large top roller.

    John Deere 567 baler

No instructions or pics. I just happened to stop by dealership and my mechanic mentioned JD came out with these plastic pieces to help keep the net from wrapping on the top roller. He said they were easy to install. Lol, maybe for most other people. Thanks.

    John Deere 567 baler

Does someone have a diagram of the 567 baler rollers with their number? I got some new plastic pieces that’s supposed to help with net wrapping issues. They said the part goes on #11 and 12 roller. Just wanted to make sure I get it right. Thanks.

    2955 hydraulic issue

Follow-up for anyone interested. Dealership fixed hi/lo issue. Packings blown in low side brake. Split behind clutch housing. Replaced clutch plates, packings, discs and wear parts in hi/lo clutch. New O rings and gaskets in shifter valve. Everything works great now. Loader and 3 point lift all...

    2955 hydraulic issue

I talked to 2 different service managers today. Anywhere from $5-10k to split and fix. Both said I could run in low without any further damage. It s a really well kept and been good to me tractor. I m going think about it. At my age, don t really want to buy new. Any thoughts?

    2955 hydraulic issue

I have a 1990-2955 2 wheel drive cab tractor with loader. Has about 6500 hrs. Used mostly for cattle farm hay work. Everything works great in low range but when bumped to high range, issues start. Loader won t work and have occasionally lost steering if rpm s not high enough. Hyd filter and...
