    i just bought this mill with all the parts to go with it. it came with a belt pulley that fit on my 45 2n. i just have one question.; do you all own one. and can you grind corn cob and the corn in this machine. i have never used one or owned on before this. thanks

    2N Rough Acceleration

    i had the same prob. a little bit of dirt got between the front tip and the top of dist. cap so took out my knife and barley cleaned the contact parts. and then put it on an it run like a champ. clean all your connections and it will save you from having trouble later.

    i have a 1945 2n and the lift works but is a little weak and bounces and leaks down with the clutch in. i just changed the gear oil in it last year. its a bout 20 - 30 degs. here and i have been plowing snow with it. but when i pick up the scrapper blade. it starts knocking real loudly like...

    i haven"t tried it but it would be a good load on it but run your trans. in drive not over drive. it can handle it. to where your hauling it and put the heaviest tractor in the front to balance the weight. put plenty of tie downs on it to look more legal.

    would a small piece of pipe taped to fit the sender would work ok in the upper hose below the t stat. right.

    i have the gauge in the side of the block where the old freeze plug was. but it does not come up at all even after its warmed up. is there any where else i can put it to get a reading. maybe in the upper hose above the t-stat.

    could have had water in the gas and froze in the bottom of the carb. or you had freeze over of the carb. thats when the gas is extremely cold and it freezes the outside of the carb. effecting the performance.

    8N has to be choked, loses power, help

    wire the lights straight to the batt. using a seperate key to turn them on and off. mine would discharge when i ran it off the key and it will steal amps from your coil causing your rough running.

    if you run around the yard with the gallon of diesel and water displacer.. DO NOT RUN THE PUMP THE LACK OF LUBE WILL KILL IT. always good to be on the safe side.

    i have a 45 ford 2n 6vlt tractor. i was wondering i changed oil yesterday and i put 5 w 30 Pennzoil in the motor for the very cold winter. when the tractor gets up to operating temp will it lose a little pressure. compared to my summer oil 15 w 40 rotella t. its real cold and the thick oil...
