    Farmall H won't roll

41 H, split and new clutch. Pulled transmission cover pulled rear axles as gaskets were leaking. New axle seals and gaskets and pto seals. With tranmission cover off, everything rolled free. Have cover on, and tractor back together and tried to roll and it won"t roll. Brakes are adjusted...

    Rear axle seal

My parts breakdown shows a metal washer between the nut and hub and a cork gasket by the seal. I don"t have a cork gasket by the nut. Are you sure there should be one there?

    1650 hydraulics

The oil is not leaking between the coupler and the tip. I push the tip in and have an open hose- nothing on the other end- and oil comes out the hose. I have hydraulic pressure to extend and retract cylinders and loads just fine, but it is a pain to connect hoses- it can"t be done with tractor...

    Rear axle seal

The right hand hub is leaking oil. The leak all appears to be to the outside, no oil appears on the inside of the rim. Is this just he outer axle seal?

    1650 hydraulics

I have 2 remotes on my tractor. Both remotes build pressure up on the coupler while the tractor is running. If I take a male tip and a hose and insert it into the coupler, a small stream of oil comes out of the hose without moving the remote lever. It is the electro? hydraulics- There is a...

    1610 loader

I have a 1610 loader on a 1650. The lh main bracket that goes from the rear axle forward to the side rail is bent upwards. Bought the loader used and everything looked okay, but it wasn"t on a tractor. Any suggestions as how to pull it down to get the bucket level. The bucket is off 2 plus...

    1650 steering tilt

The rod going from the pedal up to the retaining pin broke, leaving no way to tilt the steering wheel up or down. Luckily it broke in such a position that I can use the tractor and get on and off of it easily. I have felt around trying to figure out how to replace the linkage. The only thing...

    1650 pto shaft oil leak

1650, single speed pto. There is oil leaking onto the drawbar from the output shaft. The oil appears to be leaking from between the bearing and housing- so that is the oring. The pto has not been run for a while, but it also appears that the inner bearing ring/race is also wet. There is no...

    8N Brake Finally

Interesting thought about the splines not being true on the old shaft. I will have to check that out. Thanks for the idea.

    8N Brake Finally

I understand the splines wore on the shaft, but the hub was tight on the shaft- not sloppy. So by putting the new axle in, it slid the hub out, which is fastened to the brake drum, which moved the brake drum out which is the exact same thing the washers did to the brake drum slid it out- I...

    8N Brake Finally

After making several post on here about the brake locking up. I finally put a new axle on the right side and that fixed my brake issue. I used the same hub ( which had been replaced). I had even put washers behind the brake drum (tried a couple of these also) to space it out farther, but it...
