    Last big gas Case Built

    The case 7, 8 and 970's were avail in gas versions....so yep...the 970 was the last big case gas. I don't know what year in the '70--'78 production run was the last year that the 970 was offered in a gas version...maybe someone else on here has that info.

    I"ve cracked the lines already.....at the injectors ...then at the pump...no fuel....even after rolling over many times. Thats why I believe it could be a throttle or shut off valve in the pump. So yes...to clear up the issue...no fuel to the lines...however we are getting fuel to the top of...

    Maybe try cracking the lines at the injectors to see if its pumping fuel up there??? I used to have a massey that wouldn't run after a filter change...until I bled the air out at the injectors...just a thought.

    yep...the texaswren was right...I was wrong..the filter is under the left side..at the top. And..yes...the pickle fork is literally a small pickle or olive fork...with bent up ends....thats what I used anyhow after looking at a picture of the tool. It is a tight fit to get your head in there...
