    Cast wheels on a B

    I have a 1945 "B" my Dad bought new. It has the cast rear wheels. Most of the Bs in this area had cast wheels. Northeast Ohio/ Western Pa area. Serial # research shows delivered with cast rears.

    Now to add fuel to this debate, starting serial # for 1952 was 682602 ending # was 703384. This info is from Mr. Thinkers Almanac, if that is correct. No mention of any "A" built in 53. Check the serial # of the Tractor in question. The 60 series production started in April of 52. Depends...

    John Deere 2010 question

    I see a 1962 2010 advertised, gas engine, tricycle. I am trying to remember which of the 20 series everyone says were bad. Can anyone post an opinion? Also, it looks like it has rear wheel castings with the keyhole like my "A" . Any help appreciated. Thanks

    I have not seen this hub before. Part # A8566R or A3566R not sure. Appears to be a weight type hub. Is this a common hub on an "A" ? It was only on one wheel not both. I only have parts books for the "B" and 60 and did not see it shown. Thanks for any info

    JD 734 Hi-Cycle spray rig

    Went to a sale today and saw this rig. Never knew they made a spray rig like this. 3 cyl. gas engine with a JD I.D. plate. Single front wheel. Decent condition sold for 1750.00 Is this a rare unit , of just not around Akron Ohio? Thanks

    Plugs fouling on 45 B

    Plugs are fouling after about 45 min. run time. plugs are new 3116 Autolites, points ,condenser ,rotor, new copper wires,cap within the last 20 hrs. no black smoke, not rich mixture, However, I am pulling wagons with people, and it has some ideling time. temp. is staying about 160.
