    Please see attached picture. I have never seen this configuration with the 'clamp' to hold the square head of the bolts in the rear axle. We broke one of the bolts when taking of the nut. How can we replace the bolt bolt?

    430 T serial number 160624 with power steering with a loose front end. We have replaced the studs on the lever shaft assembly (it helped a little). With the cover off the rack and pinion, we can see the play is in between the rack and pinion and the steering gear. Is there any adjustments to...

    430 T loose steering

    430 T with factory power steering with loose steering. It appears to be tight from the steering wheel to the vertical steering shaft assembly. It appears to be tight from the wheels to the center steering arm. Any idea where to look for the play in the steering?

    John Deere 430 T power steering question

    The 2 pins were too close to one end and kept the worm gear from turning all the way back and forth. We put it close to the middle and it works. Thanks for your help.

    The wheels turn the same right to left or left to right. The steering wheel and wheels stop turning at the same time. The wheels turn the same whether it's jacked up off the ground or sitting on the ground. Thanks for your help.

    Attached are 2 pictures of the power steering unit Can anyone help me? Who is the manufacturer? Where can I get parts? It has a lot of play in the steering. It makes a grinding noise. How do I fix it?

    530 only turns over with the start option on the battery charger

    530 John Deere. The battery reads just under 13 Volts. The starter doesn't turn over or even click. We put the battery charger on in the start mode and it turns over and starts. Any thoughts or recommendations?

    Starting a tractor with a reverser

    We have a 430 with a direction reverser. If the battery is dead, can we start it by pulling it without hurting the reverser? Also is there any restrictions for towing it?

    530 starter not cranking

    We have a 530 converted to negative ground before we bought it. It turns over when I engage the starter BUT if I quit cranking it over before it starts I cant engage the starter until it has sat for 5 - 10 minutes. Then the starter engages as normal. How do I find the problem?

    Thanks for your reply. I took the lock nut off and the adjusting nut doesn't have any threads.
