    Broken steering line on 2000 ind.

    I am dealing with a Ford 2000 Industrial and one of the metal power steering lines is broken by the clutch pedal. I dont see any way to replace the line without replacing the hydraulic cylinder too. Is there a way the line can be patched?

    Is this a David Bradley engine

    Can anyone tell me if this is a david Bradley engine. I know it's not the original engine for this Bachtold mower. The bore is 2.75 and the stroke is 2.375. The block is aluminum. No ID number on engine anywhere ID plate is missing.

    That is the way I will have to do it. I have cleaned and scrubed the entire engine including the bottom and there is not a single mark anywhere. There might be a number inside but I really don't want to take the block apart.

    Thanks for all the replies. Yes the points are under the flywheel and it has two bolts on top of the shroud. Other than that I guess I'm out of luck because I don't find any markings at all and the ID plate opposite the pull start seems to be missing. Bummer!
