8600 pto
I have a Ford 8600 that the PTO runs constantly. I know I need to replace the brake on it, but can it be done through the access plate on the side or do we have to break the tractor in half? You can on the 8000"s but I have heard you can"t on the 8600. The tractor is a 75 model and has dual power. -

The lift cylinder is under the seat on the bottom side of the casting the seat is attached to. 600 Hydraulic problem
To blow the lines out, you would need to take the lines loose from the bottom of the pump. The lines are in a cast piece that runs from the front of the transmission to the bottom side of the pump. Once off you should have two internal lines going from the front of the transmission back to the... -

3 pt hitch adjustment
WIth an 800 series you will also have several holes for your top link on the tractor. Thes have more to do with the Draft Control than with position. The lower hole is normally for heavy pullign implements like plows, etc. the upper hole is for lighter things like rakes and blades. -

Yes they are hydraulic. There is a lift lever on the right hand side that raises and lowers the arms. It is mounted on an arch shaped track.
