I have the 646 tractor with the hydraulic pump out. I looked at the Grainger web site and the 4F667 Haldex Barnes pump appears to be the same size. My question is, Does this pump have the same capacity as the original. is it easy to install and modify?

made a mistake should be (1 kW/1000W) 360 Watts divde by 1000 W, multiply by 1 kW, this converts watts to kilowatts to get kWh multiply by your hours 360W *(1 kW/1000W) * 3 hr= kWh

    John Deere Planter ID Needed

It sounds like it definately a cotton planter. I have a 247 which is a 2 row 3 pt cotton planter. It has that ring in the bottom with the 2 ears right? But it acutally isn't a plate. It goes in the bottom and the plate sits on top. Some plates like milo require a false ring, that requires you to...

    sandblasting

where would one find phosphoric acid? I think we've got some muratic acid, would that work? It is some sort of rust converter, or does it actually eat away the rust. I would assume you spray it on and wash it off? Thanks

    sandblasting

Is there still a danger of sillicossis when used in a waterblaster? I would think there is no way the dust can get in the air.

    sandblasting

got it from northern tool, it was around $60. Ideally I think a regular blaster would be best but our compressor isn't nearlly big enough to get much done. It's probably safer; no dust. Seems to take rust off just about as quick as air blasting. The biggest problem I think is the flash rust.

    sandblasting

What do the numbers on blasting sand stand for? I know they are the size of the sand, but they have numbers like 20/40. What does that mean, which size is smaller? Also I payed $7 for 50 lbs of black beauty which seems kind of high. This is on a water blaster, so would river sand work or would...

    2008 pumpkin patch

I'd drill wheat or annual rye. Rye would be better becuase it is an altoxin(sp.)meaning it produces a chemical to inhibit competition. burn it down with roundup in the spring and/or bury it with the plow. You've got to kill that cover crop otherwise its competeing. I don't know what you mean...

    painting chain

I am in the process of restoring a planter. I would like for the chain to look decent instead of rust. The problem is that in the past when I have spray painted it, the chain looses its flexibility and gets stiff. anyone have any suggestions to make it look decent?
