    Am I correct in thinking that a 2N starts on 6 volts and then runs on a lower voltage through a resistor. If so I am interested in the wiring diagram to show it gets the 6 volts for starting.

    Starter does not disengage Massey Ferguson 35 Special gas

    The bendix on the starter does not retract as one would expect therefore stays engaged and it can shear the pin off. I’d be interested if anyone has ever experienced this situation and what the cause could be

    The carb is a TSX706 EAF9510G by raising the float I mean lowering the gap to less than 1/4 inch, 3/16-5/32 I thought that would raise the fuel level in the bowl

    Well I got it going, I did a few tings not sure what fixed it. I raised the float level, put a little silicone to seal venturi, opened the main jet a little, and it started wow. It needs about half a choke to run properly, the question I have is, what would you fellas do to richen the mixture...

    My carb Ford 800 has a venturi in it that is different that the typical plastic or brass one. I don't think it is lifting fuel therefore won't run. It's a totally different profile than then the common one and I can't locate a replacement. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

    Problem solved, once I got a new pin the solution was quite obvious, drilled out the old pin and pressed in the new one

    Snap ring on 8 speed gear shift

    What do you people use for a tool to remove the heavy snap ring on an 8 speed gear shift, in order to remove the gear shift from top trans cover?

    Does the gearshift pin on a 3000 go all the way through the lever so you can drive it all the way through or does the pin just go into a dead hole? I can see one end of mine where it is knurled over but there is no sign of the other end
