Thank you for the response. I added the Staybil for Diesel... does that qualify as an anti bacterial agent? its' old, has a metal tank. I can't find a water separator.... Disconnected the battery and put it on a trickle maintenance charger. It will be in the pole shed, out of the wind and...- pcctim

Winterizing a skid loader.
I'm in northern Wisconsin and have a Case 1835b skid loader with the 188d diesel. Around November it'll go into storage until May (stored at our cabin). What do you put in the fuel prior to a long, cold sit? Besides check the cold level of the antifreeze, what should I do to winterize this...- pcctim

Case 1835b diesel replacement fuel gauge
I broke the fuel gauge on my 1835b. Does anyone know of an aftermarket gauge that'll work or possibly the resistance of the original (33-240 ohms or 0-90, etc) Original gauge is north of $100... Thanks, Tim- pcctim

I don't think it's a vinyard model. Pretty sure the rear tires are just set in. -

Yeah it"s narrow, I got it from a nursery. What does "English" mean? I"ve got a hydraulic leak so I"m guessing English means parts are big $$$. Not sure what the measurements are. Plan to leave it skinny to get around the trees on my property if the loader will fit that way. Tim -

I found a Westendorf WL-21 loader that I think will work on my Ford 3000. Specs say it'll fit a 3000 with a "type 3" frame. So, I start trying to find serial numbers to decipher and I've come up with the numbers below. I've looked at a couple web pages that are supposed to define and explain... -

Yeah, I gotta get a manual. I used the 134D oil in both the tranny and back. Read somewhere (besides here) that was correct... better be, stuff"s expensive these days. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it! Tim -

Here's another question. I can't find a dip stick for the gear box or rear end on the Ford 3000. Is there one and where is it? If not, how much fluid goes in both? Again, if there's a web page or spec sheet that answeres these basic questions I'll take it. Probably save everyone time... -

I"m a newbie with this tractor so bare with me. Need to change all the fluids and I"m not sure what to put in the gear box and the rear end. When I drained them they looked very different. Should they be the same? Sure I need to do an oil change too. I"m sure all this info is in one place... -
