    Got a 450 4x4 dually for pulling a Big Tex trailer. When I got it I pulled the trailer empty against a wind and got 10-12 mpg's. I was told that after about 30,000 miles it should improve. Its a 2007 6.4 diesel. Now empty nothing towed its showing 9.8 mpg. Thats the gizmo on the dash that...

    52 8n will not start

    check under the big nozzel for a plugged main jet. Same thing happened to me. once I got main jet I didn't see at first out and cleaned the crud that had plugged it, It was able to run without keeping the starting fluid to it. trgWY

    I don't know how much it would cost, but if originality is the issue, there is a outfit in California that rebuilds/repairs VW steering wheels, it involves new material surrounding the spokes and colored to match.     Oops, its a 8n sidemount. I don't know what the sn is as seems the pitting of that area is pretty well not that I haven't tried, just haven't sanded it down yet. But block seems to kinda ate away abit in the sn area. thanks
