    Clutch disc thickness??

    Anyone know how thick the friction discs on a 46 A are suppose to be? .150" sound right? The clutch lever won't stay snapped into "engaged". It keeps bouncing out. I have adjusted it per the manual, but still no luck, so I'm going through are inspecting all the parts.

    I bought an A multifuel tractor that the tanks were out and was just ran off gas from the big tank. My question is--is threre a differant carb for dual fuel tractors and gas only tractors. I"m trying to peice this back together again to run on the multifuel. Thanks for the help.

    steering

    Does anyone know if I can get a steering shaft fixed or where to buy a replacement. It is for a 1946 John Deere A. The inner bearing races are pitted and I believe they are part of the complete shaft assembly. Also the packing material or nut where the shaft goes though the box.
