    Clutch will not disengage ?49 cub

    Installed new clutch disk, pressure plate, pilot bushing and throw out bearing. Clutch will not disengage. I adjusted the pressure plate fingers but I guess it is wrong. How do u properly adjust the fingers before installation?

    Paint color

    Wanted to paint a ?47 cub and a ?53 Super C. I would like get a good quality paint from the parts store. I believe they carry the DuPont brand. Would anyone know the paint code #? Any other reccomendations are welcome, I would like to use any good quality paint that will not fade

    Swing cylinder removal

    John Deere 410 back hoe - need to remove the swing cylinder. Unsure of the age of this tractor but guess 1975 or earlier. The swing cylinder seems to have a taper lock on the cylinder mounting pins. What is the proper procedure to remove this cylinder?

    J4 magneto

    Working on a '47 cub. Does the coil on a J4 mag. have to be charged like on a hit and miss engine.

    Working on a '47 cub. When I got this tractor it was disassembled and in boxes. Is there anything I should do to the magneto before trying to crank it? When checking the coil, what should the resistance read? Never worked on a magneto before, should there be a strong magnet?

    Cleaning gas tank

    Could anyone recommend a solvent I could use to clean out a gas tank? I have tried to rinse it out with gas but cannot get it all. Working on a MF135 and it will crank up fine. It will run okay for about ten minutes then acts like it ran of gas.. Let it sit for a few minutes and it will crank...

    Rusty metal preparation

    Have used wire wheel on a drill to remove heavy rust. There is some piting. What would be the best primer to use to kill the rust for good? Rust oleum or a more professional product?

    Pressure pot sandblaster

    Purchased a budget 100# pressure pot sandblaster and a blasting cabinet. Having problems picking up the media. I'm using a 5hp compressor delivering 12 cfm. Any suggestions? Should I install a dryer on the air line?

    Cast iron repair

    Working on a Farmall super "C" front end. What the radiator mounts on, it also houses the steering. There is a piece broken out where one of the bolt holes is. Would brazing another piece of cast iron in be ok?

    I just acquired a "B" that was going to be sold for scrap! It is a "43 model I believe. There is the main fuel tank but then there is a smaller secondary tank that is plumbed into the primary fuel sediment strainer. What is this smaller tank for?

    Super C front wheel

    I have two original front rims for the super c that have the three lugs riveted to the rim. The rims are rusted out. Could I remove the lugs from my old rims and mount them on a new blank rim offered by Yesterday's Tractor? If so where could I get the new rivets
