    B Powerblock ?

    1st off can anyone tell me what's the best spark plug for the 5-2 b-powerblock? 2nd what is clearance on the tappets? I'm trying to get this tractor to run smooth it wants lope along. It has great power and starts good. Any input would be great. Thanks Scott

    Valve spring??

    My question is there a place online I could order a valve spring for MF 250? My local dealer is a very slow service. It's going to be a two week wait. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Scott

    250 massey not running

    O.K. I'm back again.my tractor is the one with low hours on it from hitch of hartford.It got water in the fuel and it stop running we drained the tank and cleaned it. We sent off the injecters and the pump had them rebuilt. And now it still will not start. I don't know what to try next.Help...

    Back in 2001 I bought a remanufactured 250 from Hitches of Hartford in England. It has 400 hours on it now. I used it one day and the next day when I fired it up it started chugging like it was running on 2 cylinders. I changed the fuel filter which did have some water in it but, that did not...

    I"m working on a 42-45 B.I know this much from the pressurized cooling system.I took the tag off to see if I could read the back side with no luck. B1***89 Any other ways to tell the year? Thanks Scott

    kill switch up date

    Well when hooked up the switch wrong it fried the little kill fuse in the mag. but I had a spare mag. so I traded them out!Bingo! I like having a E STOP Switch! John Deere"s of this time where not the safest things on the farm. Thanks again to all.

    250 mf No power

    My 250 has low hours and has always ran great. I pulled it out of the barn last week and it sounded like it was running on two cylinders. So I changed the fuel filters and bled the lines and it still sounds bad and as you give it full throttle it puts out black smoke which it never did before...

    G carb.?

    I'm helping a friend with his G it was running good until today when he started it up and it would not stay running with out the choke half pulled. I thought a good cleaning would help. So he brought the carb to me, I took it apart and used my #40 and #53 drills to clean all the little passages...
