    Winterizing a skid loader.

I'm in northern Wisconsin and have a Case 1835b skid loader with the 188d diesel. Around November it'll go into storage until May (stored at our cabin). What do you put in the fuel prior to a long, cold sit? Besides check the cold level of the antifreeze, what should I do to winterize this...

Case 1835b diesel replacement fuel gauge

I broke the fuel gauge on my 1835b. Does anyone know of an aftermarket gauge that'll work or possibly the resistance of the original (33-240 ohms or 0-90, etc) Original gauge is north of $100... Thanks, Tim

3000 diesel serial numbers / frame type

I found a Westendorf WL-21 loader that I think will work on my Ford 3000. Specs say it'll fit a 3000 with a "type 3" frame. So, I start trying to find serial numbers to decipher and I've come up with the numbers below. I've looked at a couple web pages that are supposed to define and explain...

    3000 Diesel question(s)

Here's another question. I can't find a dip stick for the gear box or rear end on the Ford 3000. Is there one and where is it? If not, how much fluid goes in both? Again, if there's a web page or spec sheet that answeres these basic questions I'll take it. Probably save everyone time...

    3000 Diesel fluid info

I"m a newbie with this tractor so bare with me. Need to change all the fluids and I"m not sure what to put in the gear box and the rear end. When I drained them they looked very different. Should they be the same? Sure I need to do an oil change too. I"m sure all this info is in one place...

Westendorf WL 21 loader fit a Ford 3000 Diesel?

Think a Westendorf WL 21 loader will fit a Ford 3000 Diesel. This assumes the ford brackets fit or I fab new ones. I"m worried about it being too big. Any input appreciated. Thanks, Tim

    Looking at a 1957 Ferguson 35 'update'

Thanks again for the input on the earlier post regarding the 1957 TO35 SGF. I took a look at it today. Seems to be a nice little tractor. Started easy but wanted to die occasionally till it warmed up. Helped to run with the choke partially on. No leaks at temperature and the engine oil and rear...
