    Just wondering if anyone knows the length of the grass stick for a #5 mower? The manual doesn't give the length, mine snapped off at some point. Thinking of just getting a 3 foot dowel and use that but just wondering how long it might have been. Thanks.

    North Dakota. Southeast of minot. Got the rake for next to nothing, and it works well enough. Just can't raise/lower the wheels. Its been sitting outside for several years. It worked olay last fall, went to crank up the wheels tjis uear and it stripped out...I think the size nut I need is...

    Thanks for the info. I'm leaning towards the IH as it is belt driven. The JD is a bit closer. Plan to use this just to cut some grass for now, once I get my pasture seeded it will be used a bit more. For now just the over tall grass with some alfalfa and who knows what else
