    Thanks. I just discovered I should be back on page 19 in the F0-4. Serial numbers prior to 216989. Diagrams follow on pages 20-21. This bearing was replaced. Apparently something not adjusted correctly yet, or parts are worn.

    Went back to turn steering wheel. Yes the steering wheel rises when turned to the right, and lowers when turned to left. Rises and lowers for 1/2 turn, same as the free play in the steering.
