2840 Clutch Problem

Any ideas on a 2840, why when you push the clutch in, it stops like you put the brakes on? Real sudden!
Asking for someone else, so dont know too much more

hello,, brakes are probably dragging,, jack up the rearend trans in neutral, hand brake off,, you should be able to free wheel each rear wheel..
