881 trans/hyd reservoirs

Has anyone combined these together? I did some rough measuring and the hydraulic level would be quite a bit higher than the transmission oil level, but I was wondering if it would be possible to make an opening so these two could be combined.

My reason is once I get the external filter mounted, I could have the hydraulics filtered as well.

Overfilling the transmission is likely to cause oil leaks around the input shaft and onto the clutch. Not a good idea.

That said, it is not uncommon for worn seals to allow oil migration between all three sumps.
