case question

did case make a 600 that looks like a 500??? i have what i beleive is a 500 but the number on the hood {that is missing}looks to be a 600 ?? the serial no. tag is gone--is it posible to get a replacement??

The big 500 is Flambeau colored. The 600 is Desert Tan plus its a 6 speed and the 500 is 4 speed. Jerry Sanders makes serial plates if you know the number. The serial number is stamped on the block on the flambeau tractors L, D, and SC series. Someone may know about the 600.

The 600 also had an emblem above the grill like a 400 has, the 500 has none, and the engine oil filter housing is different on the block from a 500 and 600.

well it has a 4sp tranny--it must be a 500 i will see if i can find some numbers-- thanks for the info!!
