Needing to know the color of paint on the grill and side shields on a 1959 Farmall 340. They appear to be white now, but am wondering if they are some shade of white, or the International Off-White color that has a tan tint to it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks - Bob

I used the IH off white. I think that it looks correct.

IH 901 or IH 935. The 935 is the newer and more creamy looking color. Some say that the older 901 has a green tint to it but my eyes cannot confirm that. To my knowledge 901 is NLA from a CIH dealer but may be custom mixed by PPG, etc. if they have or can find the formula.

You want the 901 paint. IH used it through the 56 series. Please do not use the newer creamy 935, it does not look right. You can’t get 901 anymore but it crosses over to a 1969 Ford paint code. It’s called new lime. PPG code 2047. And yes it does have a green tint to it. Nothing worse than a 1206 painted with the 935 white!
