Grazer ZTR's

I acquired a Grazer ZTR, about 1987 vintage. Can't find any info about Grazers on the net. One hydro appears to have dirt or something in the control valve. Works fine sometimes but must move the lever all the way back or forward sometimes to engage.
Anyone out there know where I can get info on how to service this thing? Who makes them or are they a dinosaur?
Thanks for any info.

Grazer"s are a well-made ZTR. The original Grazer company was bought out by the old Ingersoll Equipment Company that went into Chapter 11 about five or six years back. The Eastman company, who makes the Hovermower line of air cushioned mowers bought the company up and moved it from Winneconne, Wisc to Maine.

It is now called the Ingersoll Tractor company and it is alive and doing well. Production for the 4000 and 4200 series of Garden tractors was resumed immediately but the 3000, 6000, 7000 and Grazer lines were all put on hold, pending serious review and possibly revision.

The 3000 series has now been resurrected but none of the others. However, Ingersoll still fully supports all of the lines.

Use the link below to access their website. Use the dealer locater to find the closest dealer or distributor. Use the "Illustrated Parts List" to download or print the parts manual for your Grazer. Don"t give up on it. Repair whatever is wrong and use it. My guess is that you will like the Grazer very much.

Thanks much for the info. It appears to be a very well built machine and in decent condition for its age. The owner said he paid a small fortune for in back in '87.
Hopefuly the hydro just needs a good flushing.
Thanks again.
