I think I have a handle on the problem.
By eliminating the vent hole in the valve cover, all the cold air will have to enter through the oil fill cap so condensation will end up at the bottom of the crankcase oil not on the top of the head and inside of the valve cover.
My Farmall has only one vent, in the oil fill cap. When I change the oil on the Farmall, a small amount of condensation, a teaspoon, comes out first.
Only time will tell if what I do will work.
You should know I won't do nothing. I will try to solve the condensation problem.
