I found a second Massey 1372 mower conditioner. This one has a 2 point hitch that attaches to the 3 point arms on the tractor. The other 1372 mounts to the drawbar. Is one option better than the other, or more prefered? Thanks - Bob

I have only had the drawbar hitches, but my brother's NI machine that I borrowed has the 2pt swivel hitch. much much nicer to turn with the 2pt. No pto chattering either.

The drawbar hitch on a 1372 uses the same swivel gearbox that the 2-point hitch does so turning would be the same. Just a preference thing on whether you want to hook to the drawbar or the hitch. The drawbar hitch has shims that you adjust for your particular tractor to make it fit closely. If you're going to be using various tractors with different sized drawbars that would be a nuisance.
