Has anyone put a 44 Massey flywheel on a B427 Continental engine? I guess most use a
226 Continental flywheel and bore 6 new holes to fit the 427 crank..The 44 flywheel fits the
427 crank but is bigger around..It looks like a 44 flywheel could be machined to put a 226
ring gear on it in the correct location so that the starter will work with the 226 bell housing..
It looks like the 44 flywheel will just barely fit in the 226 bell housing..
