Help needed
I recently purchased a mf 35 3 cylinder and I think I my have a problem with the clutch, it has been sat outside for over a year before I purchased it and the problem I have is when I press the clutch pedal down to change gear it s almost like putting on the break ( comes to a stop ) not sure if I m doing something wrong or it needs adjusting/ or a new clutch?
Kind regards, Ross

What comes to a stop? The engine, or the tractor stops rolling? If you are driving along in a gear and the tractor comes to a quick stop when you push in the clutch I would look at possibly dragging brakes or other resistance in the drivetrain.

At the 6 clock position (bottom of Transmission) on the Transmission check for an inspection plate. Remove all four cap screws, remove plate, with flashlight view into the Clutch area . What do you see?
