Yesterday I and a friend attended the Beckner sale near Marshfield,MO....Jim was a long time and very well known collector in Missouri that had passed away.....It was a beautiful sunny day with the temperature in the 60's..A large crowd attended ...

This rare 8-16 IH sold for $8700 which was probably the best buy of the day..

The 12-20 Case sold for $10,400..

The G Allis in front sold for $1300 and the Massey Harris GP 4WD in the back ground siting on a special trailer sold for $9,300 for the pair..I did not get a close up picture because all my extra camera batteries were dead due to a faulty charger..

Thanks for all the info, interesting range of prices. Curious about buyers--did you have a sense or know of anyone coming from different parts of the country for the sale or do you think they were mostly local?

I think that most of the crowd was from 250 miles away or less but I did talk to one man that came from Illinois..

That's still a pretty good distance if they were coming from as far away as 250 miles or so. Considering they had to cover that again going back home. Looks like a good sale.
