The throttle lever on my 720D was not staying in the position I put it in. There seems to be no friction between the lever and the bracket. I tightened the spring to the maximum and still there is not tension enough to hold it in place.
I removed the whole throttle assembly from the tractor and had to cut the spring and the stud to remove them from the assembly. My problem now is how to separate the lever from the bracket. Mine has the two dowels. I am afraid to bang on the lever for fear of braking it off. Does anyone have a method for separating them?
