Valve Gap Question

Well not doing a lot of hooplah for a lot of expense and effort, as I originally mentioned the PO drained the tank before he put it for who's how long but didn't run the gas out of the carb.

Well as I mentioned I put an over abundance of Sea Foam in the gas and proceeded to put some time on the chemicals to take effect. That was a couple of days go and results weren't comforting but not comforting to a total degree. Yesterday I stayed indoors due to weather and the Sea Foam modified fuel had a chance to distill the crud in the carburetor from day before yesterday till this afternoon with the engine not running.

After the soaking with SF soaked fuel, I cranked it up today, the engine just ran idled like a new one. Started easily, no backfiring, hit the throttle and "hang on".

So, I don't need to go through the rig-a-marow of changing this and that as this problem has solved itself.
Thank you Sea Foam saved me again......worth ever penny spent for it for my trucks, farm equipment and boats for many years.

my dad has an 03 360 and that thing had the pop since new, local bike shop opened the carb up some and it drastically improved it but it still will do randomly, I haven't taken the time to sit and drill the jet out to get it to stop, it is kinda nature of them, sometimes even at idle it will pop then die!

I don't know. My first experience with ATVs.

I am friends with the one of the owners of the local shop and he agrees, but unfortunately he can't give me an exact drill bit number that will fix it, he can just give a range, PITA for sure, good luck, hope you get it worked out! overall not a bad bike, a bit rougher running than my 03 suzuki 400 eiger, my only complaint has been the engine hiccup and the belt sensor will sometimes have a hiccup too on the prairie, applies to the big and small ones in that case.

I can live with some peculiarities if I can recover out in the field without having to walk back to the shop and get out a tractor to pull it to the shop. It just keeps getting better and I am thrilled.....learning a new learning experience and when the manuals get here in a day or two, it will be the icing on the cake. One thing for sure......even in the closest (gear) detent to N, put it in that slot and hit the throttle and hang on. Couldn't stay in the saddle but on my gravel driveway, about 300' long I could punch it out and WOW. My dog's pen is adjacent to the driveway and she just had a big time with all the excitement. Life is good......for a change....no health problems and all the toys are working.
