I am replacing the bearings in one of the cutter heads on a Vicon CM2400. When I press the hub back on to align the holes for the roll pins I cannot turn the gear by hand. It seems like there is to much pressure on the bearings. If I back off the hub some I can turn it by hand but the holes don't line up enough to insert the roll pins. Is it normal not to be turn the gear by hand when the hub is pressed on all the way? Thank you!
