Lower lift arms
I had to buy one of the tabs you are talking about for my 850. There is a left and a right. I got 2 by mistake and the seller never responded so if you need as left side and I can find it you can have it. -

The diff lock is designed that way. That shock is actually spring loaded. You step on the locker pedal and that loads the lock so that it can engage as soon as it's lined up. -

Ford Powered Skid Steer
I have used the little click clack pumps the parts stores sell in the past with good success. They are rated for 5-7 psi and are easy to install. I have never tried on on a tractor though. -

I am also in central Indiana and have access to a lot of old Ford tractor parts. I can check and see if I can find one. -

Is it possible to remove the shifter assembly and not get the high/low range stick back in the wrong place so it it can't go to neutral? -
