    Ford 3000 Gas Shutting Down

    Ditto what Red Belly said. Had a 600 that did the same thing. Turned out, new fuel line had been installed touching or real close to exhaust manifold causing vapor lock. Routed away from manifold and no more problems.

    3000 PTO

    I had one that did the same thing. Turned out that the lever from shift arm was bent just enough to let ball slip out of detent. Could hardly tell it by looking. Bought a new one and it fixed the problem.

    3600 temp gauge problem

    The new guage cluster has a grounding spade near where tach cable connects. Must be grounded.

    960 runs real bad?

    Had a 640 that acted like that a few years back. The man I bought it from had rebuilt the engine and ran a new gas line to carb. The line was against the exhaust manifold. After a lot of aggravation, I re-routed the fuel line and she ran like a top from then on. Vapor lock I guess.

    Anybody know original alt type for 2600? My has a one wire setup with what looks like a volt reg mounted to back of alt with about three more wires going to various terminals in alt itself. IT manual shows about four wires going to alt.

    Got a new ign switch today. Someone had install a generic switch that had terminals marked "bat", "st", "run", "acc". Pretty self explanatory. New switch however, only has terminals marked 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Does anyone know what terminal goes where on this after market switch? I just need the...
