    47T baler timing gear

I am looking at an international 47T baler. It is a wire tie, and supposedly baled 2-300 bales in 2003-2004 without missing a tie, then the timing gear got out of time. One of the feeder forks got bent a little, and now it trys to feed when it should be packing. Is this an easy fix? They want...

    wire tie?

I am looking at buying a baler. What are the pros and cons for wire verses twine tie? A roll of baler wire is ALOT more expensive to buy than a roll of twine, so why would anyone use it? Which baler is easier to work on for a newbie?

    Horse power on JD 70

MY John Deere 70 trator is rated at 50 belt horsepower. I'm wondering if this is the same as PTO horsepower by today's standards? Would this be enough to run a pull type swather, and if so, what size? How about a small square baler? Any help, or experience running these on a JD 70 would be...

    Buying a baler

I'm looking around for a used baler at a good price. I am wondering what I should look for on it - any brands or models that were lemons- and things to check on the baler to see what condition it is in. Any advice would be appreciated!

    4020 wiring harness

I have a close friend who owns a JD 4020, Wide front diesel with cab. His tractor caught fire, ruining the instrument panel and wiring harness before he could get it put out. He is looking for another wiring harness, and he also needs another set of gauges. If you have a harness or some...

bad electric starter on garden tractor

I am working on a white garden tractor. Several weeks ago, it wouldn't start because the solenoid was bad (clicking). I replaced the solenoid and it worked fine for a few weeks. Now, it is clicking again, but this time from the starter instead of the solenoid (the solenoid is located under...

    Tractor front end

I am replacing an oil pump on a Case 210. To drop the oil pan, I have to drop the front axle. The tractor has a loader on it. How should I safely support the front end without the front axle on it? Any pictures of how you have done this would be appreciated!

    case 900 inj. pump

I am looking at buying a case 900 diesel. Can I switch out injection pumps from a 600b diesel to a 900b diesel? Also, is it possible to put a three point hitch on it? It has 2 hydraulic outlets. What would be the maximum amount of money to put into a tractor like this? What is one worth...

    Case 600 diesel price

I'm looking at buying a Case 600 diesel with a stuck engine. What would be a fair price for this? Also, what is a Case 600 diesel worth when it runs well?

    Drive through PTO pump problem

Thanks for your help - can I truly run a loader off the powertrol hydraulic outlets without damaging the powertrol pump? Would I hook it up at the hydraulic outlets right behind the seat?

    Drive through PTO pump problem

I have two problems with the aftermarket PTO hydraulic pump on my JD 70. First, the pump is losing alot of power - it has a hard time even getting the loader up above the level of the tractor. Can I do someting to fix this? Secondly, I want to run a bush hog off the PTO. How can I do this...

    john deere hyd. lift

I have a John Deere 70 with a three point on it. The hydraulic lift can easily lift the rear blade I have on it, but when I push the lever backwards to lower the lift arms, nothing happens. It takes about 5 minutes for the pressure to slowly bleed off, and then the implement is back on the...

    Case 600 diesel

I am looking at buying a diesel tractor to restore this summer, and ran across a case 600 diesel. The engine overheated in 1987 (they forgot to put water in after storing it for winter)and it has been on blocks with a cap on the muffler since then. Supposedly the engine seized from...
