    Hi, everyone. I have a 1960 530 with mechanical steering (the casting number on the steering box is G1055). The steering has considerable play (about 120 degrees at the steering wheel). Is there any adjustment on the steering box?

    I have a '73 450B loader with open-center 3-bar shoes (P/N T75588). On the left side, the shoes are oriented so that the leading edge of the shoe is at the forward end (as viewed from the top) but the right side has the leading edge at the rear end.     So I bought the 1541 igniter and the instructions say to remove the points plate however, the points plate appears to be a cup rather than a plate that is press-fitted into the distributor body. Can anyone tell me ho to get the plate out?

    Well, I managed to locate the trans. temp. sender (it's located on the plate that covers the screen on the RH side of the trans., if anyone's interested) and connected it to the gauge. Either the gauge is faulty or the sender is. Can anyone suggest how I test either of these units? Failing that...
