    I have a flywheel that needs approx .100 machined off to make it flat. The book says .040 max. I"d be willing to fab a shim between the wheel and crank if it would otherwise work. About 400 for a new one. thanks Mike

    8n hard starting ballast resistor

    I did all the suggested stuff, points plugs condenser, still starts hard. I found when I jumper the factory ballast resistor the spark is noticably hotter.     3414 hydraulic service

    I bought a 3414 industrial loader and the only manuals I could find are just about useless. I got a new filter and I want to drain and refill the hyd system. It says hygard fluid and shows a plugt back on the 3pt lift to release trapped air. What about all the drain plugs on the belly? Thanks, Mike

    3550 stuck in gear

    I'm looking at a 3550 stuck in 4th/8th gear. Hi and low shifts and the regular shifter moves but it won't change gears. It's a pretty solid state maintained machine with a nice factory loader and over 5000hrs. Any ideas on the value? Thanks. Mike

    48 8N 6 volt is a flakey starter. I've done all the ignition tuneup items and rebuilt the carb twice.It gets a lot of fuel in the lower intake tube but everytime I pull a sparkplug they are dry. The spark is not very impressive but i'd expect to see a wet plug. For some reason it likes short...
