    Ford Funk Starter

I have a Ford Funk with a 6 cylinder "Industrial" flathead. When I tried to start it the starter ran but did not turn the motor. It had a funny grinding sound. No previous starter problems. Video attached with sound. Is this characteristic of anything?

    Jubilee Radiator

I have gone through two radiators...one last summer and one this summer. They start leaking at the upper seams. I believe they were one of the standard Chinese replacements. The question... can anyone suggest a good radiator for a Jubilee? Thanks! Rich

    800 PTO Shaft

I have an 800 series tractor I use to mow using a bush hog. The lever to engage the PTO occasionally pops out of gear. I notice the PTO shaft has about 1/2" forward and backwards play. I am guessing this may be the problem. I assume I need to remove the PTO shaft and see what is going on. Any...

    8n No Spark

I have an 8n that has been converted to 12V. I put a new distributer and 12V coil on it but no spark. 11.6V at the coil. The starter seems to drag badly and gets hot quickly. Could that draw enough current to be the problem? Thanks! Rich

    JD 915 Header

I am changing the knives and guards on a JD 915 header. This is the first time I have done this...so don't know what I am doing. After putting some new knives and guards on I found the hold downs were tight against the knives, not allowing the bar to move. (I did not replace the hold downs or...

    Jubilee Lift Arms

I have a Ford Jubilee used to pull a 5' bush hog. On occasion the bush hog will raise up without me touching the lever, then will not go back down. The hydraulic fluid was ugly...contaminated with water. I have changed the fluid twice. The second change looked pretty good but still some...

    JD 6620 part-seal

This is a picture with the "Fingers" removed from the back of the chaffer frame. The rubber seal above this is pointed out and you can see it is torn and a piece is missing. In a previous thread 620 John said this was in the "shoe auger pan parts diagram" ...but I can't find it. Can anyone point...

    JD 6620- fingers

I have a JD 6620.There is a piece missing from what the parts diagram calls a Cover. When I removed it to repair it I noticed there was a part in the parts diagram called the Fingers which appears to be absent. I am assuming the piece broke off because it was not supported by the Fingers. Parts...

    JD6620

I have a JD 6620 that I am harvesting Rye with for the first time. I am getting a lot of seed heads (without seeds) in the grain. The manual says to run the cleaning fan at 800=900 RPM for rye. If I increase the fan RPM over 300 I start to loose seed, and at 400 RPM essentially no seed comes out...

    JD 6620 Combine

I am trying to drain and refill the final drives on a JD 6620 combine. The manual says there is a fill, check and drain plug. I can easily find the fill and check pipe plugs, but do not see a drain plug anywhere. Anyone familiar with these? Did they all have a drain plug? Thanks!

    JD 670 Compact

A friend has a JD 670 compact tractor with a 3 cylinder Yanmar diesel engine. It has been lightly used; only about 400 Hours on the engine. It sat for close to a year, then when tried would not start. I have drained the fuel tank and put in fresh diesel. The manual says the engine is Self...

    JD 6620 Transmission-Again:)

I recently changed the transmission fluid on this combine. The specs say it holds 11 quarts. When I drained the fluid there was less than a quart. Knowing the machine had not been maintained I was not concerned. I put in 11 quarts of 80-90 gear oil. I drove it around the edge of a field and...

    JD 6620 Trans. Screen

I have a question about installing the transmission screen. I installed it with the open end with the collar towards the drain plug. I pushed the screen in, then put in the plug. I wondered why there was a rubber wedge/gasket just inside the opening of the screen. It did not seem the screen...

I am trying to change the transmission fluid on a JD 6620 hydrostatic drive combine.
