    Re: Case 1175

Might not work on a 1973. The later tractors have an elbow that goes into the housing above the oil level.

Re: 1973 570 case hydraulic remote quick connect

It sounds like you tee'd into the pressure line. You need to hook into the pressure line so the hoe and the loader are hooked in series.

    CC parts

I just carried an organ donor CC rear end into the shop to thaw out. Does anyone need any other C series parts while it is in there? All I need is axles and hand brake now. Donor has PTO and no motor lift. I do have others in the snow bank froze down.

    W14 brakes

Does anyone have a good source for W14 brake parts without trading the kids in? I need a master cylinder, and one disk brake caliper.

    2394 fuel gauge

Fuel gauge on my 2394 is giving me grief. It always shows full. I have tracked the problem down to an open circuit in the dash itself. Has anyone ever messed with one of these? A gauge and tank sender for a truck could be made to work if I transplant the suction, and return lines into the...

W 14, CE question for mEl

My W 14 has the hard shift. Did all W 14's have the hard shift? Is there some part in the transmission that can be removed to make it into a soft shift? There are times it would be nice to reverse direction without making a complete stop first. Is there any disadvantage to change it if it is...

    960 parts manual?

Does anyone have a 960 parts book that you could look up a part for me? I installed the power steering from a 960 on my 930. The "motor" or what ever it is called that is hooked to the steering wheel is leaking out the shaft seal. I was told once it is a Ross system. Is that true? I have a good...

    DC cold weather problems

Anyone else have cold weather brake problems on their late model DC? When I apply the right brake the left is engaged at the same time and the tractor will not turn. The grease on the brake shaft is so thick that the right brake will not turn on the shaft that engages the left brake. I guess it...

Re: When rubber tires can?t pick the corn

Steel wheels will be worse. Duals if they are far enough apart to clean help. Tracks are better yet.

    Model L engine replacement

I have heard stories over the years of someone in Nebraska, Kansas, or Oklahoma replacing the L/LA engine with the IH 549 truck engine. Has anyone ever seen one of these? Would make quite a monster. On gas it would likely drink 20 gallons per hour. They must have converted to propane, and towed...

    1155 windrower

I have a friend looking for a case 1155 auger head windrower service manual. Does anyone have an extra laying around that they would be willing to part with? What model Heston would I have to look for? The problem he is having is that the variable speed drive pulleys do not line up with each...

    Case 300 hydraulic problem

Working on a 310 that we are raising from the dead. Eagle hitch lifts just fine, but will not lower. I can push down on the eagle hitch arms with the valve in the lowering position till the front axle raises up, but the eagle hitch will not lower. Cracked the hydraulic line to the valve to...

    Case C top radiator tank

I have several C top radiator tanks around. Looking to build something clever with them. I have seen lamps made from them among other things. I do have a few ideas, but wonder if any of you guys have better ideas than mine. If you wish not to share with everyone my email is open. DK

    2090 hydraulic issue

I have had my 2090 for 18 years and have never been able to get to the bottom of a hydraulic issue. When the tractor leans to the right and I hit a bump the hydraulic pump sucks air. If I run the oil level 1" high on the dipstick it helps, but just takes a big bump. Last time I had the...

    Nick 831 tach drive

Wet here this morning so I dug my tach drive puller out. It had a 930 drive on the puller when I found it. I was wrong on the thread size of the puller. It is really close to 3/4" but it is 20 TPI. The 70, and 30 series diesel tractors have the same drive. 90 series fits, but cable threads...
