Hello, we have recently installed a used engine in our 1952 8n that we overhauled with a rebuild kit (pistons/sleeves, rod bearings ect..), the engine is running well and the oil pressure is at approx. 40 psi when at idle, the problem we are having is it takes longer than it should to get oil pressure upon start up, hard to put an exact number on it but maybe 20 seconds? Once running it will maintain pressure when in use just fine but it is the delay on start up that is concerning, is there any common known cause of this, one thought would be if the oil filter housing is draining and needs to filled when started but am not certain if there is a check valve or anything to address that or not. Thank you for any info. on this concern
